Here’s the info we have:

Who: Puriksetra “Puri” DeJonge (daughter of Padyavali and Pavitra).

What: Puri is standing in an elevated spot, most likely the platform on the back stairs of the Palace Lodge, with a hot air balloon behind her and the main dome of Prabhupada’s Palace visible in the right hand corner of the photo.

One year a hot air balloon was part of the annual Prabhupada Festival, held each year during Labor Day Weekend. New Vrindaban residents and guests rode the balloon several hundred feet in the air to get a birds-eye view of the area.

When: Circa 1982 to 1984.

Where: Outside the Palace Lodge; New Vrindaban, West Virginia.
