Srila Prabhupada’s Disappearance Day


This Saturday, Nov. 1st is Srila Prabhupada’s Disappearance Day (fasting until noon).
We’ll meet at the Palace of Gold for an intimate setting to share memories, appreciation, or favorite Prabhupada story. This year we’ll begin by hearing from Srila Prabhupada’s grand-disciples first.     
Afterwards, we’ll come back to the temple, where we’ll break fast at a 1:30 feast. [...]

Govardhana Puja


Govardhana Puja is Wednesday, Oct. 29th!  The day starts off with the morning program, including Damodarastakam prayers, and a 8:15am class recounting the pastimes under Govardhana Hill.

This year Diwali is celebrated at New Vrindaban on Saturday, Oct. 25th. After the morning program and breakfast, take a tour of the garden and cow barn at 10:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m.

Diwali candle holders


Lalita Gopi, Caitanya Bhagavata, Vishaka, Vrindavan and other helpers gathered last Friday to make candle holders for this Saturday’s Diwali celebration.  To celebrate this Festival of Lights, the altars will be decorated with hundreds of tea lights for a magical candlelight arati and kirtan.
