Original Pastel Drawing of Srila Prabhupada

This pastel (chalk) drawing is on grey pastel art paper and is done in black, white, shades of grey, and sepia (or sanguine). Srila Prabhupada is seated, his left hand on his silver-tipped cane, and is looking to his right side. He wears a thick garland. His sweater is visible under his coat, and his left hand has a ring.

This drawing was copied from a photograph that appeared in an ISKCON book, possibly “Planting the Seed.”

This drawing has water damage around the figure, plus a little on the top right of his head and the bottom part of the visible cane. Someone put contact paper over the entire picture and this CANNOT be removed. However, it is still a great portrait of Srila Prabhupada by an expert ISKCON artist.

The letters of the artist’s name are illegible.

Price: $20 (As Is condition)
