Ramlila’s Sunday School News

Six young devotees attended the Madhava class today (May 6). Two of them, Chandrika and Baladev, are the children of Sevananda das & Alakta-carana dasi. This family drives 1 1/2 hours each way to participate in the New Vrindaban Sunday program. This gives me motivation to stay committed to our Sunday School.
This Sunday the class discussed the story of Madhavendra Puri and his discovery of the Gopal deity, and the sweet rice that was hidden by the Gopinatha deity.
What made it entertaining? Each child read one page of the illustrated story and then I quizzed them orally before going on to the next page. That kept them focused upon the pastimes.
