This Is In West Virginia?

Speakig of swans, here is something Vaisnava Blogs found on the web. It is by a visitor to New Vrindaban and includes a slide show, which I don’t know how to post with this, you’ll have to click thru to see it.

“Over the holiday break I had a friend come up from out of town. We were sitting around my house trying to figure out what to do and I am not quite sure how we came up with the idea….but we decided to head out into the hills of WV and visit the Palace of Gold. Its one of the biggest Hare Krishna compounds in the US and its really hard to believe its in WV! I’ve been thru the compound before, but this time Sarah and I actually got out of the car, kicked off our shoes, went into the temple and checked it out. It was definitely very different but also very beautiful. The carvings, the gold, the different alters…its pretty fascinating. The statues on the grounds are different–huge elephants, big dancing people, blue cows. We even talked to a devotee in the temple AND we lived to tell about it!”
