Wheeling 1-70 Eastbound Tunnel Closure

On or about January 8th, 2007, the eastbound lane of the Interstate 70 (I-70) tunnel in Wheeling will close completely for 6 months. The westbound tunnel will remain open.

This will not effect tourist travel to New Vrindaban as that comes on 1-470, which bypasses the tunnel. It will effect devotees doing local errands in Wheeling. Plan your route for town trips accordingly.

The Wheeling tunnel will be closed Jan 17th.
