Wood For Sri Sri Radha Vrindavan Candra

Vyasasana, an initiated disciple of Srila Prabhupada, has recently moved to New Vrindaban. He is an experienced carpenter and a self starter, which is a positive for any organization.

As someone who has heated with wood for 35 years, I am a bit of a connoisseur of wood piles, and I will say with all positivity that whatever else he may be able to do, he can stack wood. This pile is a thing of beauty to this beholder. He is also a long term user of wood heat.

RVC’s temple is heated with wood, and is quite an operation, including gathering, splitting, and stacking the wood. There is a schedule for stoking the fire which in cold weather is an around the clock affair. It is a team effort involving a lot of devotees. It is also an opportunity for current residents and visitors to experience the Old Days of New Vrindavan in a first hand manner doing an activity that was shared by all the oldtimers..
